Top Team Charity Cup for Teams - Team Jumping Verona wins, 1,605 trees are planted

Today's program, Saturday November 5, was concluded in Verona by the second edition of the Top Team Charity Cup for Teams. In this team competition, two teams made up of the world's best riders competed against each other for charity, with no prize money up for grabs.

The speed class over 1.45m height was won by the Jumping Verona team, consisting of Anna Julia Kontio (Fin), Nicola Philippaerts (Bel), Julien Anquetin (Fra), Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (Bra) and Emanuele Gaudiano, which finished in a total of 207.92 seconds. The Scuderia 1918 team, which relied on Giulia Martinengo Marquet (It), Kevin Staut (Fra), Piergiorgio Bucci, Simon Delestre (Fra) and Lorenzo De Luca (It), collected 223.39 seconds.

The final scores were obtained by eliminating the worst score of each team. Individually, Anquetin took first place on the back of Scuderia 1918 Calle Deluxe (Cesano) with 49.04 seconds. All faults were added to the chrono of each rider, while each jump taken without errors was good for planting one tree. In total, the ten combinations thus ended up with 1,605 tree plantations, which will be realized in collaboration with Save The Planet.
