Michael Pender and Hhs Calais keep their cool in challenging CSI4* 1.55m Prize Minister President of Hessen at Wiesbaden

In a challenging class, where both horses and riders made mistakes, Michael Pender (IRL) was the convincing winner with a flawless final phase on Hhs Calais (Cavalier Royale). A difference of roughly four seconds kept Koen Vereecke (BEL) and Oilily de Muze, the only other clear combination in the jump-off, in second place.  German rider David Will came close to the winning time with Kansall (Kannan), but a rail down kept them from placing higher than third.

Jörg Oppermann concluded his jump-off with Jonage Lvp (Canturano) on four, followed by the Zangersheide-bred Pegasus Deau Re Miu (Deauville van T&L) and Anna Maria Kuhlmann on five.
