Shane Breen and Z7 Ipswich blaze to victory in exciting CSI5*-W Cavalor Speed Class at Sharjah

The CSI5*-W Cavalor Speed Class was the opening event of Sharjah on Saturday morning. 26 combinations were early birds to go full throttle in the 1.45m high course. Irishman Shane Breen was the best on Z7 Ipswich.


German Nicola Pohl clocked in the saddle of Arlo de Blondel, a son of Tlaloc M, at 62.50s. This time was the fastest but due to a jumping fault they ended up with a total of 66.50s. As a result, Shane Breen (IRL) and the 16-year-old BWP gelding from Carembar de Muze, Z7 Ipswich, who could finish without faults, surpassed them with their time of 64.65s. With the 10-year-old KWPN stallion Jupiter (Zambesi TN), Kristaps Neretnieks (LAT) finished third with a time of 67.07s.
