Charlotte Fry and Everdale waltz their way to World Cup Victory at Jumping Mechelen

It was the leading British lady, Lottie Fry who wow-ed the crowd in Mechelen. Aboard of Everdale, Fry danced away the competition and secured her World Cup second victory in a row, after already have taken the gold medal in the World Cup Dressage Grand Prix. 

The victory once again went to Charlotte Fry. The leading British rider already won the Grand Prix with a significant lead yesterday and mercilessly continued the trend in this Freestyle with Everdale (Lord Leatherdale). The duo took the lead with 84.980% and unanimously secured the top position. The silver medal went to Marlies van Baalen and Habibi DVB (Blue Hors Don Schufro). They had already claimed the bronze yesterday and achieved this second place with a score of 81.160%. The opinions of the judges were divided, but the majority placed her in second. In a highly competitive field, Flore De Winne held her own in the saddle of Flynn FRH (Tannenhof's Fahrenheit). With the nine-year-old stallion, Flore De Winne surpassed the 80% mark and concluded her debut in the Nekkerhal with a total of 80.330%. That score was turned into bronze.
