Thomas Mertens and Cosimo de Leau Z win Consolation Class at the World Championship for six-year-olds

The consolation event at the World Championship for six-year-old horses in Lanaken was won by Thomas Mertens and Cosimo de Leau Z.

The stallion by Cicero Z van Paemel is a breeding product of Hof Ter Leeuwe and was guided to the finish line by Mertens in the fastest time. The second place went to Hessel Hoekstra (NED) and Stargos VDL (Stakkato Gold), who also made it to the top five yesterday. Third place was awarded to Patrick Hickey (IRL) and Silverteal Indigo (Emerald van 't Ruytershof).

For Emma Stoker (GBR) there was fourth place with Comme Ci Comme Ca (Comme il Faut) followed by Roosje Brouwer (NED) and Maribelle (Heathrow).

Georgia Wells leads Obolensky Dollar Girl to victory by 5YO

The Consolation Class for five year old horses was won by Obolensky Dollar Girl. The mare by Cristallo 7 was presented by Georgia Wells (GBR). On two we saw Nicholas Connors (IRL) with Jump The Gun (I'm Special de Muze) while three went to Henri Kovacs (FIN) and Donnie Brasco (Diamant de Semilly).
