Boyd Exell, the man who keeps on winning, wins World Cup Leipzig

The FEI Driving World Cup had it's stop at Partner Pferd Leipzig. Boyd Exell again left no room for the competition and claimed gold. Ijsbrand Chardon rode his four-in hand to second place and kept compatriot Koos de Ronde behind him at three.

The nine-time World Cup Indoor Driving Champion once again proved his skills in the World Cup of Leipzig. Boyd Exell outdoes himself every time and did not disappoint this time either. He skilfully led his four in hand through the course and did not make a single mistake. Ijsbrand Chardon had a fast time close to Exell's but did not ride a flawless course. But his fast Drive-Off allowed him to still get the silver. The difference between him and compatriot Koos de Ronde was barely seven hundredths. de Ronde rode through the obstacles without any faults but was just a bit slower and took home the bronze. Only these three were allowed to harness their horses again for the Drive-Off.

For Bram Chardon there was a fifth place. The Dutchman's time was faster than his father's but he had a fault in the first round which meant he was not allowed to participate in the Drive-Off. Michael Brauchle was also done after his first round and ended up in fourth place.
