The 17th edition of Holger Hetzel's auction is another one that can go into the history books. A total of 20 young show jumpers left for a new home. An average of 328,250 euros was paid per horse.
The absolute record was paid for the six-year-old, Level Up (ex. Darwin Alizard Z). In 2021, the gelding won the French championship for five-year-old show jumpers. In the end, the dark bay changed hands for 1,350,000 euros.
Also for over 1 million euros, the eight-year-old Westphalian mare, Chapeau (Balou du Rouet) found a new owner. The mare was sold for 1,115,000 euros.
