2 Million for Oldenburger Auction


Na een veilingmarathon van zes uur zat er zo'n tweeënhalf miljoen euro in de portemonnee van Oldenburgse fokkers. Oldenburgse vrienden uit de hele wereld verzekerden zich van hun Oldenburgse ster op de 95e Fall Elite Auction in het Oldenburg Horse Centre in Vechta. De edele zwarte merrie Superb danste boven aan de prijslijst. De 39 rijpaarden kostten gemiddeld rond de 50.000 euro, de 28 elite veulens brachten rond de 15.000 euro op.

The top price at the 95th Fall Elite Auction was achieved by the ultra-modern, three-year-old Superb by Secret - Welt Hit II - Landadel, bred by Lambertus Schnieder from Molbergen and exhibited by Stevens Sportpferde from Molbergen/Lower Saxony. The beautiful black mare was sold for 450,500 Euros to a regular Oldenburg customer and successful first-class breeder in Germany. The future champion mare Superb is sister to Grand Prix star Famoso OLD by Farewell III/Benjamin Werndl and the licensed Schickerio by Stedinger.

The four-year-old Commisario by Comme il faut - Diamant de Semilly - Nekton, bred by Hans-Jürgen Poehls from Neumünster/Schleswig-Holstein, was the second top price and most expensive jumping horse. Exhibitor b-Horses from Eckernförde/Schleswig-Holstein had discovered Commisario as a foal in Vechta. This ultra-modern jumping star was knocked down for 105,000 Euros to the patron Lutz Gössing for the international show jumping stable of Tim Rieskamp-Gödeking in North Rhine-Westphalia. Granddam Zara X is sister to the 1.45 m successful Clarissimo Z/Christian Ahlmann. 

The top price among the elite foals with 62,000 Euros was the charming Sempre libre by So Perfect - Fürst Romancier - L'Espoir, exhibited by Brigitte Griesser from Austria. The movement king was sold to new customers in Great Britain. Sempre libre is out of the first crop of the Sezuan son So Perfect. Sire So Perfect shone as reserve champion of the Oldenburg licensing 2019. Granddam Leica is sister to a licensed stallion by L' Espoir.

The top price in the jumping foals with 33,000 Euros was Connery by Conthalou - Cornet Obolensky - Casall, bred by Rudolf Kühlmann, Rietberg/North Rhine-Westphalia. His sire Conthalou was the celebrated Oldenburg Champion Stallion in 2019. Out of the dam line 1298: The 1.60 m jumpers Cynar VA/Jessica Springsteen, USA, and Chupa Chup/Bernardo Alves, BRA. The sporty Connery will move to the stable of regular customers in Sweden.

"Jumping stables of the first league have bought in Vechta and got great course cracks in the auction marathon. We are very happy for our loyal exhibitors", reports Sales Manager Philip Bölle. 

New customers from Costa Rica secured two Oldenburg dressage stars: Elite foal Tribeca NY by Total McLaren - For Romance I and dressage diva Senorita by Sezuan - Sir Donnerhall I.
