In a reaction to the Canadian news website the USA top rider states she has perfect days, feeling 100% fit, and other days feeling down. "At this moment I cannot focus myself to represent my country in team competitions. That is why I decided to set a step aside."
Madden also informs her passion to score hight in the Longines Ranking is not present at the moment.
