Remarkable: international dressage rider Charlotte Jorst welcomes cloned foal

"If I had a Penny for everyone who said 'you should clone Nintendo' I would be rich", the top dressage rider Charlotte Jorst begins her post on Instagram. And remarkably enough that's exactly what she did. Last night Nintendo Switch was born, a clone of her top horse Kastel's Nintendo (v. Negro).

The KWPN stallion Kastel's Nintendo (by Negro) already has an impressive list of results. In March 2014, Charlotte Jorst competed internationally for the first time with Nintendo after taking over the reins from Thomas Sigtenbjerggaard. Shortly after, in May 2014, they immediately won a CDI3* FEI Grand Prix and FEI Grand Prix Freestyle. Meanwhile, the KWPN stallion is already 19 years old, but his results are still just as impressive as ever. In March this year, for example, they won the CDI3* Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special in Wellington. Earlier this year, they also won the CDI-W Short Grand Prix as well as Grand Prix Freestyle to Music, and these are just a few examples of their many top results together.

Last night, Charlotte witnessed the birth of a clone of her top horse Nintendo, a beautiful foal named Nintendo Switch. We wish Charlotte all the luck and especially a lot of fun with her beautiful new addition!
