Last weekend a fire destroyed a food supply at Paul Schockemöhle's brood farm, Gestüt Lewitz . The team of the brood farm announced the news on their social media. In the past two decades the farm has been plagued by multiple fires.
At the 3.000 hectare big farm about 650 foals and 3.500 horses are stabled. Luckily no horses and humans got injured last weekend.
It took the fire brigade about three days to extinguish the fire that catched about 500 meter row of straw bales.
