Slovenia's top rider Urh Bauman was involved in a fatal accident with his 2-horse truck and trailer last Friday. One person and two horses did not survive the accident.
Baum and his father were in France, travelling to Vilamoura, when the accident occurred. The pair had just left their stopover in St-Tropez when disaster struck. Bauman and his father had three horses with them; 9-year-old Lartisal (by Larimar 7), 9-year-old Ulla (by Lijanero), Bauman's wife's horse, and 7-year-old Toto (by Toulon). Larisal and Ulla did not survive the accident. Toto is currently being cared for in a French clinic".
