The official goodbye ceremony of Maikel van der Vleuten's long trusted partner, Verdi was planned last week at the Dutch Masters. However the Corona crisis decided differently. In an interview to Grand Prix TV, van der Vleuten talks about his super partner. "Verdi has conquered a special place in my heart."
The once in a lifetime horse for the Dutch show jumping rider was without a doubt the Quidam de Revel-son. The pair teamed up for 15 years. "If you are a team for so long you make each other's career."
