The vote rescheduled for Feb. 7 will decide if 90 acres of land can be taken out of Wellington’s Equestrian Preserve and developed by Wellington Lifestyle Partners, which would then give up rights to develop a 114-acre parcel just south of the existing Wellington International show grounds. That land would instead be used to expand the show grounds, allowing the Adequan Global Dressage Festival to move to the same property as the Winter Equestrian Festival.
