Abdullah Al Sharbatly takes over reins of top mare Quintella

Abdullah Waleed Al Sharbatly may welcome the fourteen-year-old mare Quintella (by Sanvaro) in his stables. With the young British rider Georgia Tame the mare was recently to be seen in the international ring in the 1.45m classes.

Quintella already jumped to numerous victories in CSI2*, 3* and 4* classes. With Georgie Tame in the saddle, the mare was recently seen in the arena in Riesenbeck, Germany. Earlier last year Quintella jumped to victory in the CSI3* 1.40m class of St. Lรด. Before Georgia Tame took over the reins of the OS mare, Irish rider Shane Breen was seen in the arena with Quintella.

Prince Turki bin Mohammed Al Saud, Minister of State and member of the House of Saud, spotted Abdullah's talent and gave him the opportunity to take over the reins of Quintella.

The Saudi Arabian rider won a silver medal at the FEI World Equestrian Games in 2010. He was also part of the team that took home the bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics. The rider also moved up a huge number of places in the FEI Longines world ranking this month. He rose from place 146 to the 84th place.
