Passion and hard work but especially expertise must be rewarded. That is why the Belgian equestrian sector has joined forces to provide financial support to the best breeders in Belgium. After all, the breeders of Belgium are also the best breeders in the world.
The Belgian Breeders Bonus wants to support and recognize the rich knowledge and expertise that has led to the successful Belgian horses of today. Therefore the studbooks Belgian Warmblood Horse (BWP), Zangersheide and the Koninklijke Belgische Ruitersport Federatie (KBRSF), Paardensport Vlaanderen, Ligue Equestre Wallonie Bruxelles, Belgische Confederatie van het Paard, de Confédération Wallonie and Bruxelles du Cheval are starting a new collaboration to support this unique project.
Every Belgian breeder with horses that are registered with the BWP or Zangersheide studbooks and of course perform in the showjumping sport is eligible for this bonus of 90,000 Euros.
As listed below, the breeder that is ranked first will receive 15,000 Euros. From the 6th till the 30th place each breeder will receive 2,000 Euros.

3. 7,500 Euros
4. 5,000 Euros
5. 2,500 Euros
6. up to and including 30: 2,000 Euros each
Meanwhile, equbreeding.auction has also confirmed its financial support for the project.
Breeders have the opportunity to qualify for this bonus for one year from January 1 to December 31. At the EquiGala in Belgium, the winners will be announced at the end of the year.
