BWP Stallion Auction: Try Me-K Van Kattenheye sold for 140.000 euro

BWP Stallion Auction: Try Me-K Van Kattenheye sold for 140.000 euro

It was a successful BWP Stallion Auction on Saturday night in Lier, to say the least. The absolute auction eye catcher of the evening was Try Me-K van Kattenheye, a promising Prestige van het Kluizebos stallion.

The three year old Try Me-K van Kattenheye went for no less than 140,000 euros under the hammer. The father of Try Me-K van Kattenheye is the very modern, promising stallion Prestige van het Kluizebos. Prestige's paternity was signed by the big-money earner Halifax van het Kluizebos, the Heartbreaker son with whom Lorenzo de Luca excelled for years in the toughest 5* competitions and who once even topped the ranking of the best show jumpers in the world. Prestige's dam is a full sister to the top stallion Clinton. This mix results in power, attitude and electricity on the jump where many bidders had their eye on.

For 94,000 euros Talifax van 't Roth (Scuderia 1918 Halifax van het Kluizebos x Ulivia van 't Roth) was sold.

Notting Hill S (Cornet Obolensky x Nestia S) moves to new owners for an amount of 82,000 euros. Tolkien VGW (Nixon Van 'T Meulenhof x Elvis Ter Putte) leaves for 80.000 euro.
