Cocaine de Talma joins the Philippaerts family

The 10-year-old Selle Français mare Cocaine de Talma (Baloubet du Rouet) is leaving the stables of Haras de Talma and will from now on develop her further sport career under the wings of the Philippaerts family.

Cocaine de Talma, like her twin brother Cocktail de Talma, is a breeding product of Haras de Talma, who in 2011 inseminated the star mare Reggae de Talma there with the iconic Baloubet du Rouet. Both horses, according to the Haras, possess the special personality that makes them "Grand Champions."

Like her brother, Cocaine de Talma took all the steps to the top sport at Haras de Talma. Characterized by great sensitivity and sincere intelligence, the mare's training required just a little more time than usual. However, that sensitivity eventually proved to be her greatest asset, and due to her natural speed, the mare gradually became fantastic. With Audrey Teixidor, she distinguished herself several times in the 1.35m and 1.40m classes, before taking another step forward under the saddle of Valentin Pacaud. Last weekend, she finished second in the opening class (1.40m) of the CSI 2* in Opglabbeek and confirmed her talent there the next day with a superb clear round in the 1.45m Ranking class. Impressed by the mare's qualities, Ludo Philippaerts made the decision to invest in the mare, with the intention of having her grow together with his sons to the highest international level.

Her particularly engaging personality made her the darling of the stable. The team at Haras de Talma is especially proud of her development and is already looking forward to what the future holds for her, perhaps under the Belgian flag alongside her brother!

The team also thanks everyone who made this sale possible and wishes the new duo the best of luck!
