Due to the new Covid measures, the auction of The Youngsters Auction unfortunately has to take place online, but the presentation is live and the public are allowed to attend. In the presentation on Tuesday 23 November, the auction horses will be shown from 03.00 PM and guests will be able to see the horses jump live or on the livestream of ClipMyHorse.TV. “We would like to emphasize again that for the presentation public is allowed to attend and the entrance is free,” said Peter van der Waaij on behalf of The Youngsters Auction.
Due to the new Covid measures events must end at 06.00 PM and therefore the auction of The Youngsters Auction will take place online; on Tuesday 23 November the auction will close from 08.00 PM. At the live presentation, guests are allowed and the horses will be shown in the presentation and in the stables. Furthermore, the team of Dierenkliniek Wolvega will be present to provide extra information regarding the veterinary findings of the auction horses.
Live presentation with public
“We find a live presentation very important for our auction; we stand behind our collection and want to give everybody the opportunity to get a good impression of the horses”, says Peter van der Waaij. “Entrance to the presentation is therefore free and restaurant De Gezelligheid will provide drinks and bites for all guests.” The free entry tickets can be ordered via the website; in addition, a valid Covid QR code is required.
Zimmermann: "I would buy these horses again any day!"
References out of the previous three editions are very important for The Youngsters Auction. In 2020 Christoph Zimmermann and his wife Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann were very successful at The Youngsters Auction and bought the two most popular horses. First of all, auction top seller Jikke-Cara (Denzel van 't Meulenhof x Casco) in partnership with Olympic medalist Kent Farrington; secondly, the promising Magnolia WS (Inaico VDL x For Pleasure) with the aim for top sport and breeding. “Now a year later we are still very happy with the purchase of these two horses; I would buy these horses again any day, without a doubt!”, says Christophe Zimmermann.
Jikke-Cara can definitely become a Grand Prix horse
“Jikke-Cara is a very modern horse; very light-footed, careful and athletic. Really the type of horse you are looking for nowadays. We think she can definitely become a Grand Prix horse,” Zimmermann says about the sister of Olympic showjumper Appy-Cara. “Magnolia is a mare we really believe in. In loose jumping she already jumped incredible and now under saddle she shows a lot of talent as well. She jumps with a very good hind leg technique, always with the withers up and with a lot of power”, concludes Christophe Zimmermann about the promising mare.
