A full sister of Like a Diamond, along with filly foals by Ermitage Kalone and Cardento, and an embryo from the CSIO5* Nations Cup winner Cristel, are just some of the highlights in the annual Optimus Auction.
Sister of "Like a Diamond"
Like a Diamond won the GP CSI5* in Paris, finished second in Samorin, and third in Rome. Her sister, Fortuna Optima, is offered in the auction. She is a daughter of Foncetti vd Heffinck, the 9-year-old son of For Pleasure, ridden by European Young Rider Champion Thibault Spits.
The mother of Fortuna Optima, Cacacha vh Schaeck, performed at the 160-level with a junior rider. Her brother, H5 just the music, was 3rd in the GP CSI5* of Calgary and La Baule. The second mother won at the 160-level and is the sister of E-Muze YEK 160. The third mother is the sister of Funky Music 160, Quartz-Musik 160, and Krapuul 160.
Full Sister of 'Like a Diamond'
The full sister of 'Like a Diamond' is the first embryo in the collection. Additionally, two half-sisters, one by Ermitage Kalone and one by Cardento, are also being auctioned.
Sister of CSIO5* Winner Cristel
Elodie Optima is a sister of Cristel, the Grand Prix mare that achieved a CSIO5* Nations Cup victory with Niels Bruynseels and numerous rankings in CSI5* with Jérôme Guéry.
Brother of CSIO5* Winner Cristel
Cristel is also a sister of the beautiful colt Chaplin Optimus, a son of Chacco Blue.
Embryo of CSIO5* Winner Cristel and Excelsior Optimus
An embryo from Cristel herself is being offered. The sire, Excelsior Optimus, is a 3-year-old BWP-approved stallion with an exceptional pedigree. He is a son of Ermitage Kalone out of the top mare Cacacha vh Schaeck. A granddaughter and a grandson of Cristel are also part of the auction collection.
Emerald x Sister of Vagabond de la Pomme
Electra Optima is a remarkable filly from the sister of Vagabond de la Pomme. The mother has already produced horses at the 160, 155, and three 145 levels. Her 6-year-old son, Unstoppable de la Pomme, is approved for Zangersheide and Holstein. Top riders believe in this mare. Niels Bruynseels, Jordy van Massenhove, and Vincent Lambrecht have each purchased a full brother of Electra.

Ermitage Kalone x Oryzon vh Schaeck 150
Oryzon van het Schaeck is a 9-year-old mare performing at the 3* Grand Prix level and is ready to move up to the highest level soon. The second mother has also jumped at the 160 level. The fourth mother is Walnut de Muze, Harrie Smolders' top horse.
In the auction, there are two daughters of Oryzon van het Schaeck, Eureka Optima and Ella Optima.
Ermitage Kalone is the sire of Eureka Optima. In addition, there are two more daughters of this exceptional stallion in the auction. Ermitage Kalone is currently considered one of the best horses in the world.
Emerald x Niece of Olympic Champion Jus de Pomme
The niece of Olympic gold medalist Jus de Pomme is the mother of EEtna Optima. This mother is also the niece of the Olympic horses Quintus & Tresor d'Opaline and the CSI5* horses Richebourg & Shogun. O' Bailey vh Brouwershof, the rising stallion of Maikel van der Vleuten, comes from the same damline.
Some other foals and embryos from the collection include:
A son of Anita du Park (150), the sister of Gregory Whatelet's Beau Gosse du Park (160), and the niece of four horses jumping at the 160 level. Anita has already produced the 8-year-old Panamarenko Optimus (145) and the KWPN-approved stallion Sirocco Optimus.
A daughter of Perla Optima, who is 8 years old and already jumping at the 150 level, with lineage from Taj Mahal and Obourg.
A daughter out of the sister of the Olympic gold medalist H&M All-in.
A daughter of Jillonse DH (150). Jillonse has already produced two 9-year-olds jumping at the 155 and 150 levels. Jillonse is also the full sister of Jonsounier DH (160). The second dam of the foal is Withney Dwerse Hagen, the 160 GP mare of Patrick Spits.

All foals were bred by Optimus, and no commission is charged. All foals are veterinary approved, and the inspection report can be viewed on the website. The foals can be viewed by appointment.
