Stephex Stables invests again and buys Piaf Horta

Stephex Stables is busy investing in the future. After buying Petit Coeur vh Swertland, the well known sports stables from Wolvertem now buys Piaf Horta. Both horses were a finalist of the Belgian Championships at Lier, presented by Stal 't Bildeken.

Piaf Horta isn't the first horse coming from breeder Van Rossem Wim that eventually ends up at Stephex Stables. Irenice Horta en Origi Horta were also bred by Van Rossem and both found a stable at Stephex. Irenice Horta is the mother of Origi Horta and the grandmother of Piaf Horta.

The Gemini-offspring originally came from veterinarian Vereertbrugghen Bram. The team of Stal 't Bildeken (owned by brothers Gaublomme) successfully started the mare in the past few years in several competitions. In 2021, Piaf Horta became Vice-Champion in the Belgian Championships for 6 years old in Gesves. Following to this, she also was a finalist at the Belgian Championships for 7 years old in Lier.
