Zangersheide Stallion Approval: Bingo ste Hermelle approved

With a day delay due to yesterday's stormy weather, the Studbook Zangersheide stallion approval officially started this morning in Lanaken. At the stroke of 08.00, almost a hundred stallions were presented by hand on the hard ground and this to the stallion selection committee, which consists of Gilles Botton, Heinz Meyer and Luc Tilleman. While the 3- and 4-year-old stallions have now switched to free jumping, the first stallion has already been approved.

The honor of the weekend's first approved stallion went to the 11-year-old chestnut Bingo Ste Hermelle, a son of Number One d'Iso Un Prince and Diamant de Semilly out of Elevage Ste Hermelle's breeding farm. Bingo Ste Hermelle was presented this morning for conformation by Pieter Goyvaerts, after which he was approved on the basis of his sports performances.

We all know Bingo Ste Hermelle as one of the Grand Prix horses of the German rider Daniel Deusser. Last summer, for example, they won the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Valkenswaard in a spectacular way.
