Judy Ann Melchior: "Breeding and sport are embedded in our DNA..."

What you get when two high-end, professional organizations decide to work together? Without a doubt an upgrade of our sport, and now also the breeding. Next month, February 15 until 19, the Sentower Park (BEL) will color Zangersheide-blue. The third week of February the Zangersheide studbook will oranize its stallion approvals in combination with an auction and yes ... the first CSI4* indoor event in years in Belgium.

"We want to create a total experience for riders and breeders," the Zangersheide studbook states. "Our stallion approvals will go hand in hand with the international jumping sport, organized as a CSI4* event combined with classes for young stallions of 6 and 7 year old. Next to this also our Zangersheide Sires of the World will get a place during the event."

Important to connect breeding with our sport

"Apart from our great outdoor events, like the Z-Tour and WBFSH World Breeding Championships for young jumping horses, we still needed a great indoor event in our organization," says Judy-Ann Melchior. "As the interest in Zangersheide has grown, our accommodation seems to lack space, that is why we decided to cooperate with Laurens Meynaerts from the Sentower Park."

"With the breeding season knocking on the figurative door it is important for us to promote our breeding program, in combination with magnificent sport."
