Denis Lynch unstoppable in 1.55m class of Jumping Verona

The 1.55m high course of the 5* jumping in Verona turned out perfect for Denis Lynch and the Dutch Warmblood GC Chopin's Bushi (Contendro II). The duo jumped two fantastic clear rounds and won the gold medal, along with almost 24.000 euros.

With twelve they were allowed to start the jump-off during the 1.55m high class in Verona. Denis Lynch turned out to be the man of the test and raced on the back of the 16-year-old gelding GC Chopin's Bushi (Contendro II) to a strong gold result in 37.05 seconds. Harrie Smolders and the stallion Uricas v/d Kattevennen (Uriko) finished in second place, after the duo crossed the finish line just 21 hundredths behind Lynch. The podium was completed by Steve Guerdat on the back of the 9-year-old stallion from Kannan, Double Jeu d'Honvault, who were the last to keep a clean sheet twice.

Christian Ahlmann set an unbeatable time of 35.51 seconds, but due to one unfortunate mistake by 11-year-old Solid Gold Z, the duo had to settle for the first place next to the podium. Jur Vrieling's time also remained sharper than Lynch's, and with four faults and a time of 37.03 the Dutchman finished fifth in the saddle of Comme-Laude W (Comme Il Faut).
