Riesenbeck International takes the lead GCL Mexico City, de Menezes starts with a BANG

In Mexico City, the Global Champions League kicked off with a bang! All riders battled hard for a top spot in this exciting first round, leaving the top ten very close to each other! But they were all clearly no match for Eduardo Pereire de Menezes who crushed all of the other timings and put himself with a BIG GAP on top of the ranking!

44 riders saddled their horses for the first round of the GCL competition that currently landed in Mexico City. An unapproachable Eduardo Pereira De Menezes (BRA) put himself in first place without pardon. Riding H5 Chaganus (by Chacco-Blue), the Brazilian was over six seconds faster than his competition! They clocked in at 65.69 seconds. The top ten all finished very closely to each other but it was Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (ESP) who took second place with D'Orient Batilly (by Numero Uno), with a time of 72.04. Katrin Eckermann (GER) held off two of her compatriots and rode Cala Mandia (by Capistrano) to third in 72.18 seconds. Philipp Schulze Topphoff (GER) was fourth after riding Clemens de La Lande (by Comme Il Faut) across the finish line in 72.36.
