Henrik von Eckermann and King Edward seal the deal in LGCT Grand Prix of Stockholm

In de LGCT van Stockholm sprong Henrik von Eckermann naar de overwinning voor zijn thuispubliek. In het zadel van zijn vertrouwde King Edward was de Zweed niet te stoppen in deze afsluitende Grand Prix.

Henrik von Eckermann thrived on home soil this week, sealing his successful passage at the Stockholm LGCT tournament with a win in the Grand Prix! With his trusty King Edward (by Edward) under the saddle, the Swede jumped to victory in front of his own audience. The 13-year-old BWP horse is a breeding product of Wim Impens and once again proved his added value in the international show jumping sport.

Silver came in the name of Shane Breen. The Irishman rode Haya (by Mylord Carthago) to second place with only six seconds difference on von Eckermann. German Marcus Ehning took home bronze after crossing the finish line another ten seconds later on Stargold (by Stakkato Gold). Fourth place went to Olympic champion Ben Maher in the saddle of Dallas Vegas Batilly (by Cap Kennedy). Pieter Devos sent MoM's Toupie de La Roque (by Kannan) to the last spot of the top five.
