Another Dutch combination, Mans Thijssen and the 9-year-old KWPN stallion, Hello (by Alano), narrowly missed the podium, finishing in fourth place. Omer Karaevli secured the second-place position with a faultless jump-off on Avant Toi (by Flyinge Quite Easy 958) in a time of 39.64 seconds. Argentine rider Mariano Ossa took home the bronze with the 9-year-old gelding, Elton van het Exelhof Z (by Elvis ter Putte).
Belgian rider Koen Vereecke finished in fifth place with Lector Vd Bisschop (by Bamako de Muze). The duo recorded the fastest time, more than two seconds faster than Thijssen, but paid the price with a jumping fault.
