Belgium's Thibeau Spits was the first to go in a jump-off with ten riders. Mounted on the nine-year-old gelding Foncetti vd Heffinck (v. For Pleasure) he set the bar high with a flawless and speedy round. Initially, Moroccan rider El Ghali Boukaa managed to outdo him, clocking over a second faster with Ugolino du Clos (by L'Arc de Triomphe). However, the winning time was yet to come, and it came from Lorenzo de Luca. The Italian rider contributed to a shared Belgian victory by guiding Promise Z, a ten-year-old Zangersheide mare by Gestion Priamus Z, to the top spot.
Fourth place was taken by America's Maria Costa and Iceman B SFN (v. Mylord Carthago). The top five was concluded by Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) with Nector vd Bisschop (v. Echo van t Spieveld).
