Maximilian Weishaupt gave his home crowd a spectacle in the Grand Prix of Wiesbaden

The audience of the Longines PfingstTurnier of Wiesbaden was in for a treat with the 4* 1.50m Grand Prix. Maximilian Weishaupt made it extra special by winning in front of his home crowd!

43 riders braved the German-made 1.50m course. The winning time of 32.60 seconds was set by Maximilian Weishaupt. The German won for his own audience in the saddle of Nexus (by Nekton). Victor Bettendorf with Mr. Tac, a son of Non Stop, needed just under a second more to clear the course and finished second. Jack Whitaker followed closely behind them, crossing the finish line barely ten hundredths later with Equine America Q Paravatti N (by Quality Time TN). Fourth place was for Hans-Dieter Dreher with Cous Cous (by Cachas).

The Dutch honor was upheld by Willem Greve. For this class the Dutchman bet on Highway M TN (by Eldorado vd Zeshoek). The 11-year-old stallion from the Team Nijhof stables did what he does best and left all the wood in the spoons to finish with a chrono of 34.35. The duo came sixth at the start but immediately and stayed clear to finish fifth.
