André Thieme and DSP Chakaria on top in CSIO5* Grand Prix Falsterbo

Over two rounds the 1.60m CSIO5* Grand Prix in Falsterbo delivered some top level sport. With a sharp time allowed only two combinations managed to produce a double clear. In the end it was Germany's André Thieme who conquered the Grand Prix aboard his 12-year-old DSP Chakaria (Chap 47)

The pair put the cherry on top as they already conquered the legendary Falsterbo Derby on Saturday. With about 0.25 seconds difference it was home-heroe, Henrik von Eckermann who settled for runner-up with his 11-year-old Nababette Z (Nabab de Reve).

Dutch showjumping rider, Hessel Hoekstra, managed to keep the wood untouched. Aboard his 9-year-old KWPN-horse, Icoon VDL (VDL Bubalu), Hoekstra however had issues with the time allowed. With a total of two time penalties he completed the stage.

The pair was followed by Amy Ingli and her 14-year-old Wishes (Guidam). With three time penalties Ingli referred Belgium's Karel Cox to the fifth spot with his Nueva Epoca de Regor (Nabab de Reve).
