'Bosty' on top in five star kick-off Valkenswaard

In Valkenswaard the CSI5* action has kicked-off with a victory for France's Roger -Yves Bost aboard Castleforbes Talitha.

The French showjumper was the only to keep the timer in under 25 seconds with the 12-year-old Cardenio-mare, Castleforbes Talitha. 'Bosty' was followed by USA's Kent Farrington placing seconds in the saddle of the 11-year-old Casall-daughter, Austria 2. 

Jumping on home ground, Eric van der Vleuten placed third after a clear round with the 11-year-old KWPN-gelding, Djoost again. The combination was followed by Egypt's Nayel Nassar with Hermelien vd Hooghoeve (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve).

Earlier this year Nassar's partner, Jennifer Gates acquired the Belgian Warmblood mare from Canada's Ali Ramsay; The top five in this 1.45m class was completed by Great-Britain's Alexandra Thornton with Charielle (Chacco-Blue).
