Cian O'Connor too strong in CSI3* Grand Prix Cabourg

In Cabourg, France, jumping at CSI3* level has been going on all weekend. Just now the ultimate finale of an international weekend was jumped: the Grand Prix of the CSI3* competition. In that Grand Prix, only five combinations managed to jump a clear first round. So a jump-off with only five combinations had to decide the victory. In that jump-off, Cian O'Connor proved to be the strongest: he rode Eve d'Oulilly (by Qlassic Bois Margot) clear through the jump-off in 35.23 seconds.

Julien Anquetin followed in second place. His 18-year-old Gravite of Greenhill (by Nabab de Reve) left all the bars of this 1m55 high course untouched and finished in 35.40 seconds. Frederic Vernaet got to sit on the third podium step. He counted on the 10-year-old stallion Orak d'Hamwyck (by Tobago Z) to jump clear to the finishing line in 37.96 seconds.

Completing the top five were Hugo Paris (Eclipse des Forets) and Joshua Hutchins (Kyrah).
