Earlier this week there was some agitation wit the French show jumping team as it was revealed the team is not invited to participate at the CSIO5* in Rome. According to Grand Prix the organisation would have decided as such because the Italian team is not invited to compete at the CSIO5* La Baule, where it withdrew last year.
Now the CSIO Rome has explained the decision. "Every year we have to make decisions. France was in fact the only country that has ben invited continuously to participate between 2018 and 2023. This year other countries, who missed the chance to compete last years have been invited."
