A total of nine combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the 1.55-1.60m CSI4* Grand Prix in Wellington. In the second but last week of the Winter Equestrian Festival it was eventually Darragh Kenny speeding to the over 70.000 USD victory.
Kenny took a close victory aboard his Volnay du Boisdeville. Together with the 13-year-old son of Winningmood he referred compatriot Mark Mcauley with Jasco vd Bisschop to the runner-up position.
With exactly one second difference on Darragh Kenny's times, it was Daniel Bluman completing the stage. Bluman finished third with his Ubiluc (Ubiko). Eight combinations produced a double clear in this Grand Prix. The fourth place was eventually taken by Sweden's Petronella Andersson and Stephan Conter's Halita O. Home rider, Adrienne Sternlicht completed the top five aboard her Cristalline.
