29.000 euro for Sir Halifax van het Kluizenbos at BWFA Auction

In between the first and second round of the main 1.55m class at the Waregem Horse Week 13 exclusive foals were auctioned in the first September edition of the BWFA auction ever.

After a slow start the bidding started. The first foal to reach over 20.000 euro was, Sjah van Schuttershof (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve x Kashmir van Schuttershof) . The stallion-foal was auctioned for 21.000 euro. Sjah is from the same damline of Ducati van Schuttershof and Edison van Schuttershof.

Best selling foal of the auction was related to Halifax van het Kluizebos, Sir Halifax de W&S (Nixon vh Meulenhof x Fetiche du Pas). Sir Halifax is a son of the Belgium Championships winner with the 5-year-old horses, Nixon van 't Meulenhof and was auctioned at 29.000 euro.

Also Sky van de Zandhoeve (Plot Blue x Tinka's Boy) was sold for 20.000 euro, being the third most expensive foal. In total the auction made 178.000 euro or 13.692,8 euro as an average per foal.
