The Dutch show jumpers jumped to victory at the last FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games, Took home last years FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup Finals and this years European Championships title... needless to say there's a lot of pressure on the Dutch shoulders for this weeks Nations Cup finals in Barcelona.

Team Chef Rob Ehrens has yet again chosen for his 'winning team'. Jeroen Dubbeldam with SFN Zenith N.O.P., Gerco Schröder with Glock´s Cognac Champblanc, Maikel van der Vleuten with VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P., Jur Vrieling with VDL Zirocco Blue N.O.P. and Dutch show jumping Champion Leopold van Asten with VDL Groep Zidane (reserve EC).

This WEG and EC-team will have to prove themselves again, hopefully prolonging their title, according to Ehrens."Of course we'd like to finish with the gold, but we have to be realistic. The tention is high, the other teams are stronger than ever," states the Dutch Team Chef.

A total of 19 countries will compete at the Real Club de Polo in Barcelona, Spain. All countries from the seven divisions along the globe. Thursday four riders for each country will start their first round. Only the best three results will count. More important is that only the best 8 countries will advance to the final stage on Saturday evening.
