André Thieme and DSP Chakaria conquer Rolex Grand Prix at Piazza Di Sienna

A total of thirteen combinations returned for the second round in the CSIO5* Rolex Grand Prix at the Piazza di Sienna in Rome. In the end it was European Champion, André Thieme and DSP Chakaria who claimed the 125.000 euro first prize!

Thieme and his 13-year-old daughter of Chap 47 were  almost three seconds faster as Sweden's Jens Fredricson and the 12-year-old Markan Cosmopolit (Cohiba 1198). Brazil's Stephan de Freitas Barcha completed the stage aboard Chevaux Primavera Montana Imperio Egipcio (Calvaro F.C.).

The complete top five combinations managed to produce a double clear. Outside the stage Great-Britain's Tim Gredley placed fourth. Aboard Medoc de Toxandria (Der Senaat 111) Gredley advanced on SF Equestrian-rider, Jur Vrieling and his trusted Long John Silver N.O.P. (Lasino).
