Kees van den Oetelaar expands his stallion stock, as reported by the editorial team of nieuws.horse. Van den Oetelaar has purchased half of the 15-year-old Lord Fauntleroy.
The stallion is currently jumping at a 1.55m level with Markus Brinkmann (GER). Previously, Marco Kutscher also rode the son of Lord Pezi! The stallion is not only successful in sport but has also made his mark in breeding with over 10% actively competing at a higher international level.
In a response to nieuws.horse, he describes the stallion as "A bit of a Highway or Libero horse. I had him in my sights for a long time. Already as a young horse, at the Hanoverian inspection.
Pikeur Lord Fauntleroy became a premium stallion in Hanover, performed very well in the performance test in Verden, and then came to Holstein for breeding and later to South Germany. Van den Oetelaar partly secures the stallion for sport through the purchase. "This way we keep a good spread in breeding!"
