Names of Participants in Top 10 Rolex IJRC Final at CHI Genève Announced
The biggest stars will be competing in the 18th Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final at the CHI Geneva on Friday, December 7th. Silver and bronze medalists from the last world championships, Martin Fuchs (SUI) and Steve Guerdat (SUI) have stamped their tickets to this final. The two Swiss stars will be at the start of this prestigious event.


The 18th Finale of the Rolex Top 10 IJRC is one of the highlights of the 58th edition of the CHI Geneva. And this year it will have a special flavor since two Swiss riders will be in the running.


After achieving a historic feat at the world championships by winning the silver medal and the bronze medal in individual, Martin Fuchs (No. 8 worldwide), for whom it will be a first, and Steve Guerdat (No. 2 worldwide ), accustomed to the appointment, will competed in this prestigious final Friday, December 7, from 19:45 at Palexpo.

The world ranking published last week serves as the criteria for the qualification for this Final, still dominated by the Dutchman Harrie Smolders who will be present in Geneva. Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann (3), Germany’s Marcus Ehning (4), the American McLain Ward (5), the Swede Peder Fredricson (6), the German Daniel Deusser (No. ° 7) and Canada’s Eric Lamaze (10) will also be starting.

This Top 10 is expected to be completed by Niels Bruynseels, winner of the Rolex Grand Slam Major of the Dutch Masters of ‘s-Hertogenbosch CSI 5* (NED) in March. The Belgian points to the 11th of the world hierarchy, but he will be able to compete in place of Beezie Madden (USA).
