Switzerland's showjumping rider, Pius SChwizer has welcomed a new talent in his stables. In the future Schwizer will compete with the 10-year-old Nikia Ligie V.V..
The 10-year-old son by I'm Special de Muze was bred by Belgium's Evelyne Van Vreckom. In 2019 the gelding moved to Pieter Devos' stables through the Woodlands International Sales for 155.000 euro.
The pair jumped up to a 1.45m international level. Also Devos' wife, Caroline Devos-Poels (NED) competed the black gelding. Earlier this year, Ilan Ferder acquired Nikias and put Canada's Erynn Ballard in the saddle. Now the Belgian Warmblood gelding will continue his career with Pius Schwizer.
