Prince de La Mara sold to Mr. Onyschenko

January 15th is the transfer deadline for the next Olympic Games in Rio, 2016. Yet another transfer has been made just before this deadline.  As such the 13-year-old Selle Français Prince de La Mara (by Bequin de Moens) has been sold. Carlos Lopez' tophorse has been acquired by Alexander Onyschenko.

Prince's new rider is yet to be revealed. Together with Lopez the gelding jumped at the heighest level. In 2014 the pair competed at the Alltech World Equestrian Games in Caen, France, finishing 18th. One year before they also participated at the 2013 European Championships in Herning, Danmark.

More recently Lopez and Prince finished second at the November World Cup qualifier in Madrid.
