Richard Vogel and United Touch S win Rolex Grand Prix Genèva!

Excitement was delivered at the 1.60m Rolex Grand Prix in Geneva. Course Designers Gérard Lachat and Louis Koninckx, set a challenging course at the Palexpo. After a Jump-Off with seven, it was Germany's Richard Vogel jumping to victory aboard his trusted stallion, United Touch S (Untouched, breeder: Julius-Peter Sinnack).

Only the top three combinations managed to produce a double clear. In the end Richard Vogel and his son by Untouched were over two seconds faster as runner-up, Ireland's Mark McAuley and the 10-year-old GRS Lady Amaro (Amaretto d'Arco). The stage was completed by Germany's Christian Kukuk and Checker 47 (Comme Il Faut).

In front of the home crowd, Rolex Top Ten-winner, Steve Guerdat settled for the fourth place. Together with Dynamix de Belheme (Snaike de Blondel), Guerdat set a sharp time, but had a jumping fault underway.

Last combination at the start, Julien Epaillard and Dubai du Cedre (Baloubet du Rouet) eventually placed fifth.
