Zenith won't be sold for less than 1,5million Euro

In September the high expected online auction of the Dutch Showjumping Funds (SFN) turned out to be a disaster. The Auction didn't manage to sell the current World Champion and European Champion SFN Zentith N.O.P. Dubbeldam's 12-year-old Rash R-son was bought back by the funds for 850,000 Euro, and still hasn't found a new owner in the last months.

Meanwhile Olyympic rider, Jeroen Dubbeldam enjoys every day in the saddle of this horse.

The SFN was hoping for a total of 2.5 million euro. Last Wednesday at the Holger Hetzel auction in Goch, Emile Hendrix explained the minimal sale price is set at 1.5 million euro. "The costs of maintenance, buy-in, vets and farriers... we cannot sell this horse for less," states Hendrix. Further the Dutch salesman explained Zenith is still in top shape.

That acutally might be true as Jeroen Dubbeldam and Zenith competed about every two weeks for the last months, although they didn't compete in any Grand Prix's, the pair was placed regulary.
