Gerrit Nieberg keeps victory CSI5* Grand Prix of Hamburg in German hands

One of the highlights of the weekend was just held in Hamburg: the CSI5* Grand Prix of Hamburg. 44 combinations entered this class with jump-off and twelve of them managed to record a first clear round behind their name. A jump-off with twelve therefore had to be decisive.

In that jump-off, it was the winners of the Aachen Grand Prix who once again drove home all the competition: Gerrit Nieberg counted on 12-year-old Ben (by Sylvain) to jump a clear round in 46.63 seconds; They did so better than Ben Maher who in turn rode Dallas Vegas Batilly (by Cap Kennedy) to second place. This combination was also able to keep zero on the scoreboard, clocking off in 47.22 seconds. Michael Duffy and Che Fantastica (by Check In) completed the top three after a clear round in 50.64 seconds.

The top five was completed by Nicolas Pizarro and Philipp Weishaupt. Pizarro rode the 12-year-old Pia Contra (by Conthargos) clear to the finish in 52.88 seconds, Weishaupt got one jumping fault with Coby (by Contagio). However, their fast time still earned them a top five ranking.
