Henrik von Eckermann takes over King Edward from Janika Sprunger. "He certainly is as good as Mary Lou."

About a year ago, Henrik von Eckermann secured King Edward (Edward x Feo de Lauzelle) for his fiancé, Janika Sprunger. Meanwhile the Swedish show jumping rider took over the reins of the 11-year-old gelding. "For the Olympic Games the choice will be between King Edward and Mary Lou (Montendro I)," says von Eckermann.

"It is wonderfull to have two good horses," the Swedish show jumping rider continues in his interview with DN. The rider will start King Edward in Florida and Doha. With Mary Lou he will kick-off the season at the end of April, beginning of May. "I want to work with her towards the bigger shows in June."
