In Lier this morning, the ranking round of the CSI3* competition was on the programme. The victory was for the Portuguese Joao Marquilhas. He rode Ashes and Snow (by Diamant de Semilly x Nobel V, f. Baillet) clear in 40.28 seconds and was the fastest of nine jump-off candidates.
Dirk Demeersman was the best Belgian in second place. He counted on Innocence vh Meulenhof to jump a clear round in 41,46 seconds. Joe Clee and Ballinalard (by Balloon x Cambridge, f. Breen) completed the top three after a clear jump-off in 42,55 seconds.
Eugenie Angot (Ceres van het Moeshof) and Duarte Romao (Cooper Z) completed the top five.
