Kaitlin Campbell jumps to victory in the FEI $37.000 1.45m Power & Speed class

At the Forth Worth International in Texas show jumping action was kicked off just now on the first day of the FEI Jumping World Cup competition. The Longines Ranking athletes vied for the top prize in the FEI $37.000 1.45m Power and Speed class. 

Kaitlin Campbell took home the win in this two phases special course build over the height of 1.45m. Campbell could count on her mare Paline de l'Escaut (by Perigueux) to ride a clear round in the fastest time of 24,15 seconds. The Irish rider Conor Swail and his bay gelding Count me In (by Count Grannus) sped through the timers in 24,50 seconds and took the second place. Katie Laurie made Australia proud by claiming the third place. With her Belgian Warmblood gelding Koss van Heiste (by Breemeersen Adorado) she achieved a double-clear effort in a time of 24,96 seconds. 

Peter Petschenig (Ennebel van het Posthuijs) took fourth place. Kristen Vanderveen (Bull Run's Prince of Peace) claimed fifth place.
