The legendary Grey gelding, De Sjiem has passed away aged 33-years-old. It is Jeroen Dubbeldam and his team who announced the news on social media.
Main result of Dubbeldam and this amazing grey was the individual Golden Medal at the Olympic Games in 2000 in Sydney. In 2005 De Sjiem retired from the sport spending his last years at the stables with Dubbeldam.
"Grateful for all the amazing success you brought me but mostly for all the lessons learned and time spend together," writes an emotional Dubbeldam.
