In that jump-off, Frederic Tillmann had to start first. He decided to go for a fast round but unfortunately this also resulted in one jumping fault for him in his 10-year-old DSP Comache (by Cellestial). The duo clocked off in 49.88 seconds. Marvin Jüngel, who started next, decided to change tack; he took more of his time which resulted in two points for time. However, this proved to be enough for his 15-year-old Balou's Erbin Old (by Be Bravo) to take victory. Third place came in the hands of the fastest four-pointer, Emeric George. he rode Dune du Ru (by Vagabond de la Pomme) to the finish in 150.20 seconds in the basic course but thus also suffered one jumping fault in the process.

Thilo Schulz (Zeppelin) and Simon Heineke (Cordillo) came fourth and fifth.
