Mouda Zeyada wins 1.60m Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi

Yesterday Germany's David Will made it a close call in the main class in Abu Dhabi, speeding to victory. Today the German showjumper also qualified for the second round of the 1.60m Grand Prix. However it was Mouda Zeyada who jumped to glory with one jumping fault made in the first round. The Egypt show jumper claimed the over 40.000 euro victory aboard Morocco (For Edition).

The pair stopped the clock in 50.48 seconds, referring Kristaps Neretnieks as runner-up in less than half a second difference. Neretnieks followed aboard the 15-year-old Westphalian gelding, Moon Ray (Cornet Obolensky).

The stage was completed by Maysam Bisharat with the 12-year-old Un Dollar de Blondel (Tlaloc M), finishing about four seconds slower as Neretnieks.

Together with Abdel Said's former 12-year-old NRPS gelding, Quintero (Quasimodo Z), Mohd Osama El Borai followed in a fourth place while Daniel Meech and Cinca (Casall) completed the top five.
